Emphasis on Preserving the Status of Veterans in Cultural Heritage / General Ghasemi: Sacrifice is a Legacy to Be Passed Down Through Generations

In a heartfelt meeting with staff members of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts, Brigadier General Seyed Ghasem Ghasemi, Advisor to the Minister for Veterans’ Affairs, listened to the concerns of veterans working in the sector and emphasized the strategic role of the values of sacrifice in strengthening organizational identity. He also highlighted the ministry’s support for the veterans’ community as one of its top priorities.

According to Miras Aria, on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, Brigadier General Seyed Ghasem Ghasemi visited the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts. In a friendly and interactive atmosphere, he engaged in discussions with the staff, directly addressing the concerns and issues of veterans employed there.

Expressing his appreciation for the valuable efforts of the cultural heritage staff in preserving and reviving the nation’s historical and cultural treasures, he stated: “The tireless efforts of the employees reflect a commitment deeply rooted in the culture of sacrifice and sincere service, a spirit that must be strengthened and perpetuated.”

General Ghasemi stressed the importance of fostering empathy and constructive interaction between employees and management, adding: “Human resources are the greatest asset of any organization, and maintaining the dignity of veterans is a key part of the cultural investment needed for administrative excellence.”

The advisor emphasized that sacrifice is part of the Iranian nation’s spiritual heritage and said: “By leveraging the cultural capacity of these values, we must acquaint the new generation with the noble concepts of selflessness, sacrifice, and service. This is a shared mission between cultural and administrative institutions.”

He also pointed out the ministry’s supportive policies toward the veterans’ community, noting that such meetings are a clear sign of the ministry’s human-centered, cultural, and justice-oriented approach toward its employees, especially veterans. The goal is to enhance motivation, strengthen organizational belonging, and improve their professional conditions.

This meeting was held as part of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts’ initiatives to safeguard fundamental values of sacrifice and strengthen human connections in administrative environments, reflecting the ministry’s commitment to the social and cultural welfare of its staff.
